Deliverable 3.2.2. Local analysis and comparative assessment
The overall objective of the ALTTOUR project is to highlight and promote thermal natural springs in the cross-border area of Greece-Albania. More specifically, the project includes the development of a strategic marketing plan, as well as branding techniques and investment in skills development through the training and cooperation of all tourism stakeholders.
The primary goal of the study is to identify the comparative advantage of the region based on the area’s unique offerings. It includes good practices from European countries and Japan, competition and trend analysis, SWOT analysis of the ALTTOUR region as well as a development strategy for healing springs tourism (common vision, strategic goals, measures and indicative actions) for the further promotion of the region.
