Deliverable 3.2.1. Mapping and Assessment of Thermal Springs in the Cross-Border Area of Greece
The overall objective of the ALTTOUR project is to highlight and promote thermal natural springs in the cross-border area of Greece-Albania. More specifically, the project includes the development of a strategic marketing plan, as well as branding techniques and investment in skills development through the training and cooperation of all tourism stakeholders.In the context of the ALTTOUR project, the present study aims at presenting the current situation of thermal tourism in the Greek side of the Greece-Albania border and identifying its special characteristics. Moreover, the report includes a catalogue of all interested stakeholders, an evaluation of tourist supply and demand in the regions of Epirus and Western Macedonia as well as a PESTLE analysis of the factors that shape the business environment of the area.
